June 2012 Horoscope

We have three changes of direction and a big jump in June.  Saturn goes direct on 25^th on its last lap through Libra.  Venus also goes direct on 27^th and Neptune goes retrograde on the 4^th.  But the exciting news is…..

Big, boisterous Jupiter, planet of growth, expansion and opportunity is on the move.  Having reached the end of its year’s stretch in Taurus, Jupiter is off to jolly-up Gemini, starting June 11^th.

On a collective level, Jupiter is bringing dispersal, information and redistribution.  Time to dissolve or move whatever is not working.  This is to clear the decks for the next phase of renewal (next year).

Physically, Jupiter is the biggest planet in our solar system and its magnetic field is the largest and most powerful.  So BIG opportunities could come along too (also known as luck).  Some would say good luck is the degree to which we are ready to grasp our opportunities.  Whether you agree with this or not, it is a good stance to take.  Jupiter is going to be in Gemini until June 2013.

On an individual level, growth and expansion in Gemini can either take the form of  frenetic, hyper-activity, burning up the nervous system (and other people’s patience) or a deepening of communication, a massive spreading of information and joie de vivre and a readiness to trust the day and whatever it brings.

As well as being curious, Gemini is full of fun and playfulness and loves to communicate – qualities we can all apply to different areas of life over the coming year.  Enjoy Jupiter in Gemini, use it well and let it show you how your world can be livelier and more interesting.

So what will this mean for us all? Where will Jupiter be taking you over the next 12 months?

Aries:   You’ll be pleased to hear that Saturn’s change of direction lifts the three -month block on relationships from 25^th.  Your ability to chat and charm returns on 27^th too.  Jupiter in your 3^rd House of thought and communication is here to liberate your mind and remind you that everything is neutral and that pain and suffering only come from how we interpret and think about things.  So might as well think positive!  Communications improve accordingly, as could relationships with neighbours and siblings.  Try new forms of movement!

Taurus:   Saturn’s change of direction moves work and health matters forward on 25^th (having been in reverse since early-Feb).  Money is easier to find from 27^th too.  Jupiter in your 2^nd House of finance, possessions and security bring new opportunities and not always as anticipated.  Your philosophy might become more expansive and perhaps less reliant on material things.  Your views on security might change too.  Be open and ready for growth.  (And make sure you’re eating healthily).

Gemini:   Saturn’s change of direction on 25^th brings about an improvement in love affairs and with children.  But there’s bigger news than that.  Jupiter’s entry into your 1^st House marks the completion of one 12 year cycle of expansion and the beginning of another.  Devote some time to think about what you would like this new cycle of expansion to be about.  Then stretch to reach it.  This might involve letting go of certainty and old ways of doing things.  Let optimism give you courage to make your world a bigger and better place.  Position yourself for growth.

Cancer:   Your mother and home sector starts to move forward on 25^th (having been in reverse since early-Feb) and self-doubt dissolves on 27^th.  Jupiter in your 12^th House can bring about a spiritual flowering, informative dreams, a heightening of compassion and a better understanding of the collective unconscious.  What should you do with all of this?  Make your compassion active, be creative and share your fears and dreams.  The latter may not come easily but practice makes perfect and the outcomes can be rewarding and healing, both for you and those around you.

Leo:   Communications which have been under review since early-Feb, start to move forwards on 25^th as Saturn turns around.  Jupiter in your 11^th House offers expansion through friends, groups and community.  Friends who are philosophical, possibly religious or from other countries or cultures could also come into your life.  They will enrich your world.  Be sure to meet them half way.  Also be alert to new group or community opportunities and enjoy this collective form of nourishment.

Virgo:   Finances start to move forward on 25^th and career perks up from 27^th.  But Neptune’s reversal makes things unclear in relationships and partnerships for the moment.  With Jupiter in your 10^th House, growth in worldly status could be yours, as could career expansion or even freedom from all that.  People in authority can be helpful to you too.  If you happen to be one yourself – extend your benevolent influence as far as you can.

Libra:   Saturn’s weighty responsibilities start to move forwards on 25^th.  Yes, the end is in sight!  Jupiter in your 9^th House of travel, deep study, publishing and ‘the truth’ (whatever that means for you) can widen your horizons, free you and fill you with optimism.  (Legal matters and dealings with in-laws could benefit too).  It’s time to explore.  The world can be a friendly place.  Just turn up and let it show you!

Scorpio:   Self-doubt starts to fade away as Saturn moves forwards on 25^th.  Yes you can!  Your ‘shared area’ sweetens up too from 27^th.  Jupiter in your 8^th House of birth, sex, death and joint funds may bring financial benefits from others.  This could be through partners, taxes or inheritance.  Learning to share is the big opportunity on offer – not just your resources but yourself – scary – but growth lies in this direction.

Sagittarius:   The burden or scarcity of friends, groups or community starts to lift from 25^th onwards and authority figures smile upon you from 27^th.  Jupiter in your 7^th House shows relationships and partnerships (personal and business) are your next realm for expansion.  This could either be a new partnership, growth within a current one or a breaking of existing bonds for the freedom of new choices.  Whichever it is, your world will feel bigger and better.

Capricorn:  Father, career and social status start to move forward on 25^th (having been on hold since early Feb) and work or health matters glide forward from 27^th.  What a relief!  Jupiter in your 6^th House can help to ease tensions, either through work, service to others or by lovingly tending yourself (and perhaps others) on a daily basis.  Colleagues or those who share your daily life, take on more importance, as do creative work and routines.  What about including some sports or yoga?  Eat well (healthily) get enough sleep.  Don’t over-indulge and keep things simple.  If thinking about getting a pet – do it.

Aquarius:   Hindrances to travel plans, studies or philosophical problems start to lift on 25^th when Saturn goes direct.  Creativity improves from 27^th too.  Jupiter in your 5^th House indicates love affairs, children and creativity are your arenas for growth and expansion.  People from different cultures or those of a religious or philosophical outlook might feature too.  Feeling more athletic?  Don’t rein it in.  Leap into action!

Pisces:   Saturn’s change of direction means forward movement in your ‘shared area’ while Neptune’s reversal in Pisces calls for self-reflection.  With Jupiter in your 4^th House, an expansion on the home front is in store.  Could that be a bigger home, or one in a different country or an expansion in emotional conditions which makes the home feel bigger?  Nurturing is your area of exploration.  Don’t forget to include yourself!
